Pool Time FUN!

Memorial Day Weekend we spent a lot of it outside and in the water. We had to buy a new blow up pool for the summer, so we decided to break it in...or the boys did while I snapped photos. We "celebrated" my birthday with a little bit of family.

Loving the pool time. Brody did, Cash wasn't so sure about it, but he did like it.

Brody was devouring this cupcake!

A little bit of brotherly love (only because it's Mom's birthday)
Please ignore all the scratches on Brody's face and knee. I swear we don't hurt our children!!!! ;)

Delicious cupcakes made by my MIL - aren't they gorgeous?

On Memorial Day, we met some of our friends out at their neighborhood pool and cooked out hamburgers. What a fun day!

Look at me! Swimming all by myself!

MY BOYS! :)

Gavin's "cheese" face

They loved this. We would cover up the sprayer and once we moved our foot the water came spraying out. They did this over and over and over and over....

Big Brother vs. Little Brother

(This is from late-April 2011)

It's all fun and games...

Until someone gets hurt!

All better!

Poor baby Cash! Although, I do have a feeling Brody is in for it here real soon when Cash catches up to him in size. The proof is in the pictures, Cash did start it! I know this won't be the last time Brody makes Cash cry. At least he is sweet enough of a big brother to help make his little brother all better!

LOVING. THESE. BOYS!

Practice Makes Perfect?

Well, not so much in this case! Brody had three opportunities to hunt eggs this Easter and every time he did the.exact.same.thing. All he was interested in doing was opening the eggs to see if they were interesting or not. He would open the egg, then proceed to open the candy (if that is what was in the egg), throw the plastic egg shell on the ground and then eat the candy. And Repeat. It really was kind of funny though! Not sure he grasped the whole concept, but he had fun and that is what mattered most!

The first hunt was at school, the Friday before Easter.
He loves these cars!

The second hunt was in our neighborhood, the Saturday morning before Easter.
Our sweet, sweet neighbors

The third hunt was later that same day at a birthday party for a little girl who used to go to our preschool. Her mom and I have stayed in contact some. Such a sweet family!
